Cressey Dinner Party Success

Once again, Cressey was fortunate to be the presenting sponsor for #dinnerpartyYVR. The event nearly doubled in size with over 50 participating homes hosted by 100 hobby chefs cooking for their chosen charity.

This year, #dinnerpartyYVR raised over $15,000 for 48 different Canadian charities! This event brings people together through the love of cooking and tasting amazing food influenced from all corners of the globe, and ties communities together and forms new connections, while creating awareness of some of the amazing not-for-profit organizations across Canada.

The Cressey dinner party was hosted at Meccanica’s striking Penthouse where 12 guests mixed and mingled as Chef Clement Chan and Liam Louis cooked a mouthwatering 3-course meal paired with delicious wine from Serendipity winery.  The meal featured bacon wrapped halibut and succulent lamb, but it was Clement’s dessert that stole the show. This innovative take on a chocolate bar with almond milk ice cream won an award at BCPMA Healthy Chef Competition as best dessert, no surprise here!

A special thanks to hobby chefs and attendees who cooked these amazing meals and of course to the organizers of #dinnerpartyYVR, Annika Reinhardt and Crystal Hendricks.
